Hi, I'm Amie, I'm 23 and I love baking.
You could say, baking is in my blood. I come from a line of bakers, my great grandfather having opened his first bakery sixty or seventy years before I was born. Alas, the doors finally closed a mere ten years ago before I had a chance to learn the tricks of the trade.

So here I am, experimenting and creating any recipe I can. I do love cake, it has to be said, but I rarely eat what I bake - much to my work colleagues, friends and family's delight. This may sound a better deal than it is; there's been plenty of burnt pastry, soggy donuts and rock like cookies in the mix!
